Abstract:
Environmental turbulence such as the political upheavals, epidemics of diseases, terrorist attacks and natural calamities constitute to a significant economic threat to the hotel industry, the travel advisories brought about the reduction of number of visitors, resulting in massive effects on the performance of the hotels such as sagging sales, revenue loss, hotel shut downs, dwindling occupancy rate and reduction in customer satisfaction. This therefore emphasis the need for management to seek proper strategies for the hotels to recover and improve its performance. This study sought to assess how focus strategy affected performance of star-rated hotels within Kisumu County, Kenya. This study was anchored on Michael Porter Generic Competitive Strategies model. There was adoption of the descriptive research design, and where 10 star-rated hotels were targeted and 80 senior managers formed the sample size. The response rate was 85% as 68 managers filled and returned the questionnaires. The qualitative and quantitative data was analyzed through descriptive, inferential and content approaches. The association was strong based on the r values of 0.819 and focus strategy at beta coefficient of β =0.745, p < 0.05 showing a strong and positive effect to performance of the hotels. The study concluded that focus strategy contributed to the improved performance of the hotels. It was recommended that hotels concentrate on a small segment of the market, adopt strategies to manage costs, innovatively develop new products and services and expand the customer and market base.

Abstract:
This paper explores the cultural phenomenon of meme and hugot culture in the Philippines, examining its roots, evolution, and enduring relevance in digital spaces. Combining humor and emotional depth, memes and hugot lines have become tools of storytelling, resistance, and identity-making. Drawing on digital ethnography, media analysis, and sociolinguistic perspectives, this study traces how these two expressive forms shaped Filipino online behaviour, influenced language, and transformed communication across social, political, and psychological contexts. The paper investigates key influencers, critical milestones, and the wider implications of this trend on contemporary Philippine society.

Abstract:
The main objective of this study is to determine the effect of workplace happiness to the innovative behavior of employees at cafés in the cities of Batangas as mediated by co-worker support and job stress. Each of these factors was examined on this impact on employees performance and organizational success and how they affect the level of productivity of an individual. The study recorded that most of the employees are 19-24-year-old, bachelor degree-holder employees in cafes in Batangas Province have high workplace happiness, innovative behavior, and co-worker support, with moderate job stress. Female employees received more support from co-workers than male employees. However, workplace happiness significantly affects innovative behavior, and co-worker support and job stress do not significantly mediate this effect. Based on the findings, a Human Resource Programs was developed.

Abstract:
In an increasingly privacy-conscious world, the ability to collaborate on data without exposing personally identifiable information (PII) has become a cornerstone of modern data ecosystems. Data clean rooms (DCRs) are emerging as a critical infrastructure for enabling secure, privacy-preserving data analysis and matching across organizational boundaries. This paper explores the concept of data clean rooms, the power of privacy-compliant data matching, architectural patterns, real-world use cases, and the path forward in building scalable, secure data collaboration frameworks.

Abstract:
Tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious bacterial infection caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, primarily affecting the lungs but capable of spreading to other organs. It spreads through airborne droplets when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or speaks. Common symptoms include persistent cough, fever, night sweats, weight loss, and fatigue. TB can be latent (inactive, without symptoms) or active (with symptoms and contagious). It is a major global health issue, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Effective treatment typically involves a combination of antibiotics taken over several months, and early detection and adherence to therapy are crucial for controlling the disease and preventing drug resistance.
