Abstract: This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the teaching materials based on argument driven inquiry model to train students critical thinking skills at SMAN 7 Surabaya, on the subject matter of reaction rate. The teaching materials was developed using the 4D model and the trial design used was One Group Pretest and Posttest Design.
