Abstract: This study focused on determining the effect of human resource planning on organizational performance. The objectives of the study were to establish the effect of Human Resource Planning on the performance of Kenya Power & Lighting Company. This study adopted a descriptive research design. The unit of analysis which is the study population consisted of the employees of Kenya Power & Lighting Company. The unit of observation which is the target population consisted of the 1,173 employees of the organization who work within Nairobi region and Central Office, while the sample size of the study was 128 respondents.
