Abstract:
Food faddism is one of the causes behind malnutrition. Food faddism refers to any dietary practice that either forgoes one or more of the fundamental food categories or urges excessive consumption of one food category for exceptional health benefits. It is extremely unethical, exploitative, and designed to get results quickly. Fad diets sometimes follow plans with dubious scientific justifications.
